Sondrah Laden comes to RealSource with over two decades of multifamily experience. Starting her career on site in leasing with Johnstown American, Sondrah quickly moved up through the ranks. She was a proven operator in the role of community manager and eventually moved into a regional marketing role with Insignia, followed by a stint as an assistant district manager. Sondrah then spent just over five years with Schaedle Worthington Hyde, learning the ropes of new construction and lease-ups, before moving on to a regional manager role. Having managed portfolios as large as 3,000 units throughout the Southeast, Sondrah has broad experience in both conventional and affordable communities and is particularly strong in repositioning assets.
Sondrah has also spent time on the vendor side of property management, having spent eight years as a creative developer for Grace Hill, LLC, writing the courseware and creating content that trains multifamily professionals. She also established her own company, Pez Grande, a Spanish language Internet listing service which enables Spanish speaking renters to communicate effectively and easily with English speaking management while searching for apartment homes.
Sondrah attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, as well as the University of Kentucky in Lexington, and has a BS in marketing. She currently lives in a suburb of Louisville, KY where she shares her space with her husband of 25 years, 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 snakes, 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit and a pond full of koi. It should also be noted that she does not pride herself on her ability to say no to her children.
